A Beautiful Way to Die

Western Sahara Desert between circa 5200 and 2500 BC:

The skeletons of this exceptionally suggestive triple burial at Gobero are preserved in such a cast exactly as discovered by Dr. Paul Sereno, chief explorer-in-residence at the National Geographic Society. The three people died without any sign of skeletal injury.

This may be the single most astonishing human death, ever. Evidence like this forcefully indicates our success as a social species. Notwithstanding the horrendous catastrophes caused by us throughout the millennia, any instant or absurd argument about us being innately violent seems unsupportable herein.
